In 3CX’s latest update, aptly named “5” , 3CX has added a new host of features and made numerous improvements to their most successful version to date – v15.5.
Below a small outtake of the biggest changes :-
New Trunk/DID report
The new trunk/DID report allows you to quickly see the number of inbound calls to a trunk and to DIDs associated with it.
You can filter out calls that are less than X amount of seconds. These calls would skew call statistics. The filter is available on all reports.
Generate reports on multiple queues
Update 5 has the ability to generate reports on multiple queues and merge the data into a single report.

Improved server side CRM integration
3CX’s Update 5 saw a big upgrade of the CRM engine, it helps improves your 3CX integration with Other CRM systems.
Administrators can now switch off chat for all users system-wide.
Emergency dialing (911)
15.5 supports emergency dialing, extra improvements from 3CX include:-
Many administrators forget their password to the management console.
A forgotten password feature now allows a password to be sent to the administrator’s email address.
Replace License Key
This feature is a big time saver for users wanting to upgrade from a trial to a commercially licensed system.
Previously one would need to do a re-install if the key was not upgraded.
Now you can simply replace the current key with the purchased key and retain all user settings.
For security purposes 3CX will blacklist IP addresses that are repeatedly entering wrong user/password combinations.
However, in previous versions it was not easy to figure out which device or who was the culprit.
Better notifications now allow the administrator to quickly find the guilty party and block the IP or fix the issue.

This BETA version should not be installed in production systems. Install only for evaluation purposes.
Backups taken from BETA versions will not work. This version is not covered by any support SLA.
